In the same manner, expanding storage capacity without addressing data movement can leave valuable GPU resources hung up and waiting for data.

A strong roadmap also identifies when expansion should occur. Establishing utilization, performance and capacity thresholds creates objective triggers for adding resources rather than relying on emergency procurement once infrastructure is constrained.

With careful module design, standardized building blocks can make it easier to add compute nodes, accelerators or storage while preserving compatibility with the existing environment. This reduces deployment complexity and protects infrastructure investments as requirements evolve.
